I’ve been checking the weather forecast like there’s no tomorrow, and if they get it right, this week in finally going to feel like Spring! So I thought I’d celebrate with a few classy and chic outfits new in store this 2021.
From High Street gems to under the radar independent brands, I’ve got a little something for everyone:) First up I headed to one of my favourite High Street stores for when I want something just a little bit special, Reiss. I’ve been shopping here since I was about 18 and they’ve been consistently great over the years. You know, without fail, they’ll always have that perfect dress for an occasion, the most beautiful fabrics and based on the fact I still have some of their dresses over 10 years later, they are truly made to last. And this Spring their collection doesn’t disappoint. I could have made 15 outfits just from their new in pieces alone!
& Other Stories was next on my hit list and I picked up some really lovely and flattering denim shorts. The price point is always fair at & Other Stories and again you always know you’re going to get that quality we all want. Possibly to go with my new denim shorts I then found THE perfect bodysuit. By a brand I hadn’t heard of before but now I’ve discovered The Line By K I think I may become a regular! She does minimal style to a tee, using gorgeously soft stretch cotton that skims and slides in all the right places. I’d been looking for bodysuit for a while to tick the ‘cut-out’ trend box for this Spring/Summer but sadly a lot on the high street didn’t leave a lot to be desired:/ I really wasn’t keen on having a big cut-out across my tummy but thankfully finding this version enabled me to join in with the trend, but still feel like me.
I found one beautiful pair of tailored trousers at Jigsaw. The fit is just perfection and I absolutely love them. The only downside I’ve realised since putting this video live is that they only ship to the UK:( However, I’ve heard on the grapevine that might be changing soon so I’ll keep you updated.
If you’ve watched my YouTube channel for a while you’ll have gathered I’m slightly obsessed with finding those perfect capsule wardrobe pieces. I’m always happy to invest when I find the perfect outfit but when you find something spot on with the quality, fit and cut, and it’s really affordable, it’s like icing on the cake! So my beautiful new crisp blue shirt from Arket was a winner the moment I spotted it.
