You may have noticed I’m a dress obsessive. The one piece wonder that never fails to put the ‘simple’ into styling. Especially through Summer, when the air is thick and I really can’t think what to wear in the heat, pop on a dress without too much thought and voila, you have yourself a ready made outfit to go.
I have a usual tick list of brands I know will never fail me in the dresses department, but that list is expanding. The term resort wear is becoming common place and those collections themselves have become open to just about anything you might well wear in the sunshine!
So it’s with a happy heart and a little skip in my step I decided to write this blog post and share the 10 Summer Dresses on my wish list this month.
While polka dots might be a big trend for this Summer 2020 they’re going nowhere fast for AW20 too. I love this take by Ganni that makes me wonder to wander Parisian streets with a wicker basket in hand!
Mango have outdone themselves this year with their new sustainable collection ‘Committed’ with crisp cotton poplin dresses galore. I love the colour of this shirt dress and the elevated take on something so simple.
That rust tone, that wide drop hem, the fact that it’s made from 100% pima cotton and it’s £49.99. Win win all round
I’ve been a big fan of the brand LemLem for quite a while now but recently their collection feels like it’s gone up a notch, or 10. This dress being a case in point, I love those neon orange details:)
While I’m more partial to a midi dress than anything else, there’s been a few mini dresses this season that have stolen my heart. This 100% linen number being the perfect example. Simple, classic and elegant a dress that does the job it’s designed to do.
The centre trim, those lace details, the long sleeves for those of us with an aversion to showing our arms! Perfection:)
I love this pop of deep yellow and the simple design that I imagine I’d have in my Summer wardrobe for years.
I have this dress already but judging from how much wear it’s had already it’s definitely worth sharing.
I have no idea where I’d wear this dress, renew my vows maybe? But I really, really want it! Just beautiful.
LoveShackFancy have a whole collection of dresses I struggled to choose from. But this one tipped the post for that delicate floral print and lace trims.
