Free People White Bohemian Dress
I’m a huge fan of dresses throughout Summer. From floaty bohemian numbers to more structured elegant dresses, I just can’t resist. So I thought I’d share with you some of my favourites I’ve found along the way so far this season.
As you may have gathered from our daily style on Instagram @fashionandstyleedit I’m a big fan of the brand Free People. Particularly throughout Summer, with that bohemian spirit they do so well, it’s totally my cup of tea. I actually found far too much I wanted to buy on their recently so had to narrow it down to a select few.
One of my favourite high street fashion stores is & Other Stories. I love their accessories throughout Winter and in Summer they do the best dresses. Their styles are often quite uncomplicated which I think is why I love it so much. For me they simply make quality items and the beauty is in the simplicity.

This Paul Smith dress came from Cavells Fashion Boutique and I love it. The fit was perfect and I love the pops of colour and the deep frill on the hem. Perfect dress to wear to a wedding or dress it down with sandals for nights out on holiday.
H&M of course are always amazing, and I tend to come out with bag loads of items whenever I shop there. I found this dress when I last popped in from the current SS18 collections and I think it’s beautiful. It has a slip underneath too so there’s no worrying about it being see through. Paired with a very old beach bag of mine from a small independent brand called Atsuyo et Akiko. Worth a peek at their website.
I love this dress from Zara and think i’ll wear it to death this Summer! It’s just such a great fit and has a tie back so you can really cinch in the bust. I like wearing these dresses with trainers to really dress it down but I think this one would work equally well with a nice pair of sandals.
I’m also a big fab of Reiss for women. Particularly their dresses but this season I seem to have found lots of skirts and tops I wanted too. It’s a bit lethal popping into store! This white dress didn’t actually look much on the hangar but once I tried it on I was in love! The fit is amazing, true to size and just graced over every curve without feeling too tight anywhere. It’s so elegant so lovely for a nice evening out, just a shame it’s white so I couldn’t really wear it for a wedding.
And last but not least was this beautiful full white dress from Zara. It has a tie waist you could wear at the front or the back and quite a full skirt portion so I think it needs a heel of some sort to carry it off? Smart and elegant, something you could easily wear for work or going out.
So that’s my pick of Summer dresses from SS18 but as the seasons only just started inevitably I’m finding so many more I love on a daily basis! Let me know what your favourites are and for our daily style pics make sure you find us on Instagram too: @fashionandstyleedit
